Honda Pilot in February 2010, and I purchased this vehicle from a very nice second chance auto dealer in the Atlanta area. This dealer sells all types of cars, from Toyota to Lexus, Volkswagen and Nissan, they have everything that a person with bad credit would want. But the fact that you have bad credit, is seen through this particular tracking device.
I am required to make payments on my car twice a month, a date established between myself and the dealers finance company. After I make a payment, I am given a code to enter into the device, and once this is done, I can drive around for another two weeks until the next payment is due. However, I have not experienced such luxury. This has been far more exhausting than anything I can think of when it comes to paying bills. All my device does, is set off a week before my next payment is due. And once I call the dealer to straighten the situation out, I find out that I paid early and the system doesn't recognize it, then I wind up getting a temporary code, only to call back the following week to make my regularly scheduled payment. Although it seems as though every time I call to make a payment, my due date changes without my knowledge. So in a month's time I wind up speaking with the dealers receptionist once a week. This is the most annoying situation any human being with a life could be in. It's humiliating enough that my credit stinks and I had to resort to such a dealer, but to actually make payments just to avoid this situation, and wind up in the situation anyway is sickening. So basically, my car has a loud annoying beep and/or buzz that goes off before and after starting the car. And if it hasn't reset once you turn the key in the ignition, it will buzz again until it finally resets, which can take several attempts before you can finally drive off. During this particular time, you should not have friends or anyone that you want to impress, as this is an extremely embarrassing situation to be in.
